Waddell J. Dunmore is the husband of Patricia McDade Dunmore and the proud father of five of the most wonderful, hardworking, and decent people you will ever meet.
Married for 55 years and counting, with each new day a blessing. Born in Corpus Christi, Texas where he and his siblings were raised by a proud mother, that taught us hard work, honesty, and decency.
A proud veteran of the United States Army and an even prouder attendee of Texas Southern University where I met my wife. Waddell and Pat still live in Houston, Texas.

This work of poetry is a work of love and agony for the country I love so much. So, who do I thank first? Well, probably one of the most controversial statements made by a black is this, I’m grateful that I was born in the United States of America.
America has always been a place of hope and I hope this work ads to the gumbo of life that is America.
My wife is the rock that anchors our family and without her there would be no me, no 5 wonderful children and 9 beautiful grandchildren.
